TDK-Lambda’s Cloud PLM Transformation with GoSaaS

Business Challenges

TDK-Lambda migrated from multiple PLM systems—including Agile and manual systems / processes—to a unified Oracle Cloud PLM platform with support from GoSaaS. The project consolidated data from three U.S. sites, standardized part numbering, and integrated with their Infor ERP. Implementation successfully aligned systems, reduced IT overhead, and established a global, streamlined PLM environment.

  • Merge 3 TDK-Lambda PLM systems (different sites) into a global PLM system 
  • Absence of a single platform to manage product data and standardized processes across the 3 divisions
  • The three siloed divisions and their systems did not talk to each other efficiently, so the setup wasn't working

TDK-Lambda achieved a major digital transformation milestone with GoSaaS and Oracle Cloud PLM. The move consolidated systems, improved operational efficiency, and laid the groundwork for future scalability.

  • Successful implementation of Oracle Cloud PLM (PD, PDH) modules
  • Managed to cleanse and align data from Agile PLM and other manual systems
  • Transitioned from disparate intelligent numbering schemes to a global non-intelligent numbering system 
  • Integration to Infor ERP
  • Full History Data Migration to GoSaaS Archiver / Data Portal
  • Deprecated Agile and moved to a uniform platform throughout the enterprise (all 3 US sites)
