Nissha Medical Technologies designs a global, scalable PLM while accounting for regional distinctions

Business Challenges

The original scope was to implement PLM for the Nissha Medical - France Site. However, it became clear very early on that they were not ready for PLM and had a parallel project to migrate France Site to Oracle Core (manufacturing). Nissha’s Norwalk site was ready and needed to migrate off the acquired site PLM system (Agile PLM) by March 2023.

  • Norwalk was using Agile PLM 9.3.6
  • Data from Agile PLM 9.3.6 needed to be migrated to Oracle Cloud PLM
  • The old system wasn’t scalable. This was detrimental to organization growth

The priorities changed and it was decided to migrate the Norwalk, Ohio site from the Agile PLM instance, move to Oracle Cloud PLM (Product Development) and develop/design a global configuration for all Nissha sites.

Solution and Results

GoSaaS provided exceptional support, flexibility, and expertise that allowed Nissha's lean IT team to successfully implement the PLM solution.

  • Successfully depreciated Agile PLM 9.3.6
  • All Part revisions migrated to Cloud (not BOM history) and full history hosted into the Archiver
  • Built a global configuration design for all Nissha sites

Initially planned as a site-specific rollout, the implementation shifted to a global approach, extending the timeline but ensuring scalability and enterprise-wide standardization. GoSaaS led the system design and data migration efforts, providing flexible and transparent support throughout the process. Nissha is now planning to roll out the solution to all the additional sites and is exploring further integrations, such as GoSaaS' employee training solution (ETS) and Oracle’s Quality Management System (QMS).

GoSaaS, Inc. is proud to have supported Nissha Medical Technologies during its 4th & 5th Site Go-Live on Oracle Cloud PLM leveraging the original Global Design we partnered on in 2022. The Dominican Republic and Colorado went live in May 2025 with support from GoSaaS on Data Migration. Leveraging their own IT teams to do significant amounts of the transition and leveraging GoSaaS expertise to enable their continuous improvement.

The priority throughout the project was preserving data integrity and security while ensuring a seamless transition. The team delivered a strong result, completing UAT and launching successfully.
